COMMUNICATION:

Every student/parent has been granted access to their own private student portal through http://mtheodorouvoicestudio.mymusicstaff.com.

You will receive a separate email with a link to create a login password (if you don’t already have one).

Texts, phone calls, and emails will be responded to within 48 hours.

Please make sure all contact info is current and up to date in MyMusicStaff.*

Your Membership Includes:

  • Ongoing asynchronous support through Marco Polo app

  • Annual Recital
    Performances allow you to put everything you’re learning together and share it with friends and family.

    24/7 Access to Your Schedule, Online Resources, Exercises, and more. Accessible from any computer, tablet, or smartphone. Includes secure messaging between student and teacher with 100% parental control.

  • PLUS:

    • Reserved lesson time in the studio schedule

    • Attend in person or online as needed

    • Unlimited messaging with your teacher for questions or help

    • Practice timer and reminders through MyMusicStaff app

    • Optional scheduling reminders by email and text

    • 40 forty-minute lessons per year. (Sept - August) plus 6 flex lessons to be used by student or teacher as needed

TUITION:

Your investment for the year is $4200. For your convenience and ease, it has been divided into 12 monthly installments of $350.

You will receive an invoice a few days before tuition is due. Tuition is due on the 1st of every month and is payable via Venmo (@MeganTheo), Zelle (949-291-6039), check, or cash.

LATE FEE:

$35.00 charge will be assessed for all declined charges or tuition received after the 5th of the month.

ATTENDANCE:

Please arrive on time.

Your lesson is reserved for you; please do your best to schedule around your lesson commitment and arrange extracurricular activities and vacations accordingly.

If you are running late, please text with your ETA.

The lesson will still end on time and there will be no makeup for lost time, last minute cancellations, or no-shows.

If you are more than 10 minutes late, and have not contacted the teacher, the lesson is forfeited.

Always put your lesson time on your conflict sheet when auditioning.

The more you are using your voice, the more important regular lessons are!

IF YOU ARE SICK:

If you are not contagious and not running a fever, do not hesitate to come to your lesson, even if your voice is gone!

There are many activities that we will do that don’t require singing that will help you reach your goals faster and easier.

If you might be contagious, please stay home and reach out for a virtual lesson.

STUDIO ETIQUETTE:

Stay healthy! You are a vocal athlete; your body is your instrument, and it is your responsibility to maintain optimum health.

Avoid over-use of your voice to the point of irritation, drink lots of water, avoid unhealthy eating, stay physically active, and get plenty of rest.

Please come to your lesson ready to play, explore, and focus!

ENDING MEMBERSHIP:

If you decide to discontinue your membership, you may do so at any time.

No refunds or pro-rating are available.

Your membership is a month-to-month agreement.

Notice is required at least two weeks in advance.

STUDENT/PARENT AGREEMENT:

As an elite member of the studio, I agree to:

  • Take ownership of my own progress, goals, and vocal health

  • Come to my lesson prepared, with all needed materials

  • Communicate openly and honestly

  • Be willing to be open, play, and explore

LIABILITY:

I assume full responsibility for any risk of personal injury, and agree to hold the instructor harmless from any and all liability. Furthermore, the residents of 75 Via Santa Maria, San Clemente, CA are not responsible for any injury, illness, loss, or damages suffered by any person while they are at said residence.
